To remain competitive and provide global investors with the best trading experience, Doo Prime has been unremittingly improving the quality of our products and services.
Starting from 7th June 2021 onwards, Doo Prime will be increasing or deducting the funds for dividends from the accounts that hold an open position of the related Spot Index CFDs at the close of the ex-date.
The adjustments are based on the value of the cash dividend distribution issued on the official website. 1% of the funds from the dividends will be deducted as a handling fee.
If the net position of your trading account is a long position (Buy), the funds for dividends will be added to your trading account based on the number of lots of the net position. Meanwhile, 1% of the funds for dividends will be deducted as a handling fee.
If the net position of your trading account is a short position (Sell), the funds for dividends will be deducted from your trading account based on the number of lots of the net position. Meanwhile, a 1% handling fee will also be deducted.
For example:
Assuming that the ex-dividend date is June 1st, 2021, you still hold 1 lot of NAS100 short orders at the close of market on that day.
The NAS100 has a cash dividend distribution of USD 0.59 per lot.
One lot of NAS100 trading order in Doo Prime equals to 10 lots. Thus, your trading account will have a dividend deduction of 10 x USD 0.59 = USD 5.90 and handling fee = USD 5.90 x 1% = USD 0.059.
The computer-generated results of all dividends and the total handling fee will be deducted from your trading account. For more information, you may check in the orders history section for your account.
